Kiah Williams is co-founder of SIRUM, a non-profit working to solve America’s high-cost pharmaceutical problem. SIRUM takes unused, surplus drugs and seamlessly delivers them to working poor families, and has helped redistributed more than 300,000 prescriptions to people across five states. Previously, Williams led negotiations for the Clinton Foundation to create the Alliance Healthcare Initiative, an industry collaboration to reduce childhood obesity, developing partnerships with Fortune 100 companies to expand health benefits to 2 million children. Passionate about health equity in underserved communities, Williams has been recognized as one of Forbes’ “30 Under 30: Social Entrepreneurs” and Silicon Valley Business Journal’s “40 Under 40,” was awarded the Grinnell College Young Innovator for Social Justice Prize, and is a Draper Richards Kaplan Entrepreneur and a Westly Foundation Social Innovator.
