A 2012 Chicago Ideas Bluhm Helfand Social Innovation fellow, Micaela Connery is the founder and CEO of The Kelsey, a San Francisco–based nonprofit inspired that creates inclusive housing where individuals of all abilities and backgrounds live, play, and serve communities together. Previously, Connery was the founder and CEO of Unified Theater, an organization she founded at age 15 that supports students of all abilities (in more than 100 schools) to create and lead inclusive arts programs in their communities.
