America’s oldest national laboratory, Argonne developed the first nuclear reactor—the research that almost every commercial reactor worldwide is based on today. With the race to energy independence underway, Argonne scientists continue their groundbreaking work in the field of nuclear energy. Join us at this Lab for a behind-the-scenes tour of the world-class facility, which will give you a peek into America’s energy future and look at the strides that have been taken toward living in a cleaner world.
*Must be 15 years or older to attend. Wear close-toed shoes and long pants. Sleveless shirts are not permitted.
