    Lab
Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

Meet Chrissy Cabay, Project Director of the Shedd Aquarium's Microbiome Project. At this lab, she and expert Dr. Christian Edwardson will offer a primer on microbiomes, water health and what it means for Shedd's 32,000 animals. Guests will get a sneak peek behind-the-scenes at Shedd Aquarium's state of the art facilities. A hands-on activity will allow them to feel connected to the vast world of sea creatures, tiny microorganisms and the rich, life-giving properties of water.

*Must be 16 years or older to attend.
