Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL): AUSL Future Classroom at NTA
Explore, collaborate and play the role of a student in an AUSL Future Classroom! In this hands-on Lab, you will experience innovative, technology-infused pedagogy and flexible learning spaces--all while learning more about AUSL's approach to school transformation and teacher development.

Parking: Visitors can park in the school’s lot on 23rd Street (off of State Street). There is also street parking (read signs carefully though!) or parking in the Chicago Park District lot (also off 23rd Street). Public Transportation: National Teachers Academy is conveniently located steps away from the Cermak/Chinatown Red Line Stop. (Depending on the duration of the Red Line project, participants may need take a shuttle bus from the Roosevelt stop.) Additionally, Bus Route 29 (State Street) stops right at State and Cermak, as does Bus Route 21 (Cermak). Access: Visitors should enter the building on the Cermak Street side through the main entrance. Security Information or Pre-Lab Attendee Screening: Visitors will sign in with school security once they enter the building and will be asked to wear a Visitor badge during the duration of their time inside the school. Visitors may be asked to enter through a metal detector and/or their belongings may be scanned. Photo and Video Restrictions: Photos and video OK Dress Code: We ask visitors to dress professionally (business casual is fine). We prefer that visitors not wear jeans, flip flops, hats, or hooded sweatshirts. Age Restriction: All ages Handicap Accessible: Yes
