TALK - Talks are 90-minute electrifying, action-inspiring onstage programs, featuring four to six world class thought leaders who each present ideas on a single theme through either an individual presentation or a one-on-one conversation with a host.

Our emotions undoubtedly play a role in motivating, sustaining, and shaping personal activism. But what are the ways in which social, cultural, and personal experiences lead to individual purpose—is that how a movement begins? This session, presented in partnership with WTTW, will examine the meaning of purpose and the defining moments that transform it into action.

**Please leave all large bags, backpacks, laptop bags/briefcases and luggage at home. Small clutch bags are permitted (approximately the size of a hand but no larger than 12” x 6” x 12"). All ticket holders are subject to security screening by event security personnel, police officers and/or the U.S. Secret Service.**
