    Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

    The Adler Planetarium and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois co-host this behind-the-scenes presentation of Deep Space Adventure: The Searcher in the museum's new Grainger Sky Theater, an ultra-high-resolution, digital projection system. Researchers will demonstrate innovative, jaw-dropping, time-evolving scientific visualizations driven by creative people and computing technologies. Hosted by: Donna Cox, Director, NCSA Advanced Visualization Laboratory *REQUIREMENTS: No food or drink in Grainger Sky Theater; no photographing or videos. About the Organization: The Adler Planetarium is unique among Chicago museums in the variety of immersive theater programs it offers to visitors. The mission of the Adler Planetarium is to inspire exploration and understanding of our universe.
