LAB -
Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.
The Chicago Public Library offers a lot more than books. Discover the cutting-edge technology that CPL makes available to Chicago residents for free at its downtown Maker Lab. You’ll be able to check out their collection that includes 3D printers, laser cutters, a milling machine, a vinyl cutter and more. With the help of librarian Sasha Neria, you’ll create your own design using a laser cutter, and get a hands-on look at the tools that will help the next generation of Chicagoans to become a part of the maker movement.
*Must be 14 years or older to attend.
