    Lab
Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

Violence in Chicago is at the forefront of national and local discussion, and elected officials and community members across the city are working to find solutions. One of those people is Cook County Sherrif Tom Dart. His office is working to address the issue through programming aimed at young men in Cook County Jail who are looking to change their lives. His Sheriff’s Anti-Violence Effort (SAVE) works with men ages 18 to 24 from communities in the city that are hit hardest by violence. At this Lab, you’ll visit the jail for an engaging conversation with a group of young men whose lives have been impacted by violence and discuss their dreams for the future. If you want to be a part of the solution for Chicago’s most sensitive problems, this is an unmissable event.

*Must provide valid government ID in order to attend. No cell phones allowed.
