Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.
Chicago Ideas Week is a one-of-a-kind festival: more than 150 speakers, almost 100 different venues, and tens of thousands of attendees. Find out how we make it all happen at this Lab that takes you behind the scenes of Chicago Ideas Week itself. Join us before The Party is Over: How America Will Get Past its Polarized Politics to tour the Harris Theater backstage areas. Then, hear from the Chicago Ideas editorial team on how we ideate topics, find speakers, connect with Chicago youth, and work together to put on the world’s largest affordable ideas festival with you in mind. After the tour, you will attend the talk, bringing the experience full circle.
