    Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

    Chicago Women in Trades (CWIT) advocates for women’s economic equity by working to increase participation in well-paid and skilled jobs that traditionally held by men. They accomplish this goal by eliminating barriers that often prohibit women from entering and succeeding in a variety fields. At this Lab, find out how the organization provides support, advocacy and education to tradeswomen, and walk away with a “toolbox” that can help you push for more gender equality in any profession.

    *Must be 16 years or older to attend. Closed toe shoes are required, no jewelry is preferred.
