Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.
Bright Endeavors is a local candle making company that provides transitional jobs to young mothers and teaches them how to create sustainable, premium soy candles. Join the company’s Assistant Director, Dana Emanuel, for a talk on the history and mission of Bright Endeavors, a tour of their manufacturing facility and a workshop on their candle making process. Attendees will discover how a company can be profitable while having a social mission.
