    Chicago Cares: Power-solving Chicago’s Biggest Challenges Through Volunteerism

    LAB - Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

    Be the solution to some of Chicago’s most pressing challenges. Participants will focus on a critical community issue: job skills and job readiness and develop a hands-on volunteer module to address the challenge. Chicago Cares will incorporate the best module into its future programming.

    Parking: We strongly recommend that participants take public transportation if possible. If not, there is an abundance of public parking garages around our building. Public Transportation: Easily accessible via the El (Washington and Wells Purple and Brown line), the Metra (our building is adjacent to Ogilvie and Union stations, and multiple bus lines. Access: Attendees can enter our building adjacent to the CVS on Madison, next to the Chicago River. They will walk up a ramp and turn right into our visitor lobby. Security Information or Pre-Lab Attendee Screening: Yes, visitors will need to check in with our building security. Photo and Video Restrictions: Photos and Videos OK Dress Code: None Age Restriction: 18 or older Handicap Accessible: Yes
