LAB - Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

This interactive Lab will bring guests behind-the-scenes at nonprofit organization Cradles to Crayons. Hear from CEO & Founder, Lynn Margherio, as she breaks down how Cradles to Crayons came to serve 1.2 million children living in poverty with free, customized packages of essentials items—without any state or federal funding. Attendees will then roll up their sleeves and take an in-depth, hands-on look at Cradles to Crayons’ process for moving donated products from a warehouse into the hands of a child in need. It’s not easy to keep a action-based nonprofit afloat, but Cradles to Crayons has done so swimmingly. At this Lab, attendees can expect to find out how they’ve managed to pull it off.

*Must be 21 or older to attend. This event has limited ADA access.
