    Caterpillar's Dirt & Digital Lab

Get your hands on the latest machinery innovating modern workspaces.

    Wednesday, Oct 18, 2017 2:00 - 4:00 PM @ UIC Campus
This event is over! Please check the 2021 schedule.
LAB - Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

When you think of Caterpillar, you probably imagine the massive pieces of yellow iron seen working on the side of the highway. But today the company is merging its expertise in iron with new and evolving digital capabilities. Caterpillar's sold-out 2016 Dirt & Digital lab is back again this year, providing you a chance to experience and immerse yourself in some of the latest technologies that are changing the way they do business, including autonomous machines, virtual and augmented reality, drones, safety and, of course, seeing some of their yellow iron at work.

*Closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Safety glasses will be provided. The lab will be hosted outside/in tents so please dress accordingly.
