    Lab
Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

Led by the award-winning international design firm CannonDesign and the Civic Consulting Alliance, a unique public-private engine driving creative partnerships in Chicago, this Lab will give attendees firsthand experience harnessing design-focused thinking to engage with Chicago's most pressing social issues. Get ready to work alongside other curious participants on a series of real-world design scenarios to learn how an inclusive design process creates a positive impact in communities throughout Chicago. Participants will take on specific leadership roles and work to build coalitions around topics relating to the justice system, local economic disparities and engaging the next generation of civic leaders.
