Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.
Tour a successful film studio and find out more about Chicago’s booming TV and film industry at this Lab that takes you behind the scenes of Cinespace Film Studios, where Empire, Shameless, Chicago Fire, and many more productions are filmed. Take part in an info session and Q&A with the non-profit organizations Stage 18 Chicago and CineCares, who will explain how they provide resources to independent filmmakers, entrepreneurs and other creatives in this burgeoning Chicago trade. If desired, end the tour at the nearby Lagunitas Brewery Tap Room for drinks and discussion with fellow attendees.
Event venue is not ADA accessible. Must be 21 or older with a valid ID. Wear comfortable shoes, there will be some walking.
