    Guess Who's Coming to Lunch

    The Future of Gender

At this Member event, we’ll aim to break down the stigma of gender norms and identity, and push attendees to view gender as a spectrum rather than fixed, monochromatic classification.

GUESS WHO'S COMING TO LUNCH - Guess Who's Coming To Lunch is a series of unique gatherings during which guests experience stimulating conversations, good food, new friends and surprise guests.

Over the past decade, the fight for LGBTQ rights has made enormous strides in America, most notably with the landmark 2015 Supreme Court ruling that made same-sex marriage a right nationwide. But in terms of equality and acceptance, the country still has a lot of progress to make among the transgender community. A good portion of the country is unsure how to address gender when it comes to the biological vs. the physiological, and how to talk to their children and peers about the many facets of the gender spectrum.

At this Guess Who’s Coming to Lunch, we’ll be joined by a group of guests and engage in a discussion on the future of gender. We will work to foster a greater understanding of emerging gender issues and their bigger picture in society, and learn how to talk about these issues in an educated and sensitive manner. At this lunch, we’ll aim to break down the stigma of gender norms and identity, and push attendees to view gender as a spectrum rather than fixed, monochromatic classification. Attendees can expect to leave the lunch with a better grasp on how to be gender inclusive and apply it to their own interactions at work, school and in the greater community.
