Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.
Explore big ideas and experience what it’s like to be a creative director at this Lab that goes behind-the-scenes of the Great Ideas Of Humanity exhibit at the Chicago Design Museum. First, explore the exhibit with a special tour from the museum’s founder and executive director, Tanner Woodford. Then, learn the process of design from ideation to execution with one of the featured design teams, 50,000feet. You’ll learn how 50k conceptualized and created their featured posters and then use the same design processes to guide a designer in creating a new, custom poster to be featured in the museum's collection.
