LAB - Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

Pride ROC’s mission is to rescue Urban Prisoners Of War (UPOWs) from their existing environment through integrated trauma healing that focuses on a model of collaborative change. In this Lab that will take you behind the scenes of their life-changing program, find out more about the term “Urban Prisoners of War” and Pride ROC’s nine-day Passengers program (one intro session, three orientation days and five days of Passage). Participate in some of their collaborative healing processes including yoga and a peace circle, and enjoy a performance by the UPOW Music group, which was born out of Pride ROC'S music enrichment component.
