Asking “How might we—?” is a key step in human-centered design (HCD), a problem-solving and innovation-generating methodology that can be adapted to tackle challenges both large and small. Learn the core tenants of HCD from the Experience Design team at Slalom, a leading consulting firm. Use your newly refined HCD skills to develop feasible, action-oriented solutions for Cara, a non-profit that helps its participants disrupt the cycle of poverty by getting and keeping a job through holistic training focused on the skills required to succeed. Work closely with Slalom and Cara to design creative solutions tailor-made for the people being served. Dinner and refreshments provided.
