    Sustainable Beekeeping with The Hive

    Lab
Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

Beekeeping is a key part of keeping entire ecosystems afloat, and for The Hive, it's an economic engine for the community and a resource for local beekeepers. Join this sustainably inspired beekeeping supply store for a hands-on inspection of their hives (weather permitting), and learn how they shut them down during the winter. Chicago is a great city for beekeeping, and participants at this Lab will walk away with an in-depth understanding of what goes into making hives that thrive.

*Wear long sleeve shirt and pants. Guests will be in contact with bees, if you have an allergy please refrain from attending.
