The New Normal—Please Come Again: What it Means to Go Out After Coronavirus
This program is the first chapter in our series "The New Normal," which brings together leaders across Chicago industries to explore the impact of Covid-19 on the Windy City.
From darkened storefronts to empty festival grounds, coronavirus has turned the hospitality world on its head. And, in the absence of a vaccine, the long-term outlook isn’t much different.
In the first chapter of our exploration of Chicago’s new normal, we’re looking at how stay-at-home has completely reshaped what it means to go out. In a conversation moderated by Kate Sullivan, leaders in Chicago’s world-renowned hospitality and entertainment industries will examine how they have reinvented their approaches overnight, developing innovative solutions to stay afloat in turbulent waters.
Looking ahead to the approaching summer season—usually a busy time for the industry—we’ll take a close look at what the future of going out will look like in a world redefined by COVID-19.
