Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.
Put yourself in the shoes of someone living in poverty with Legal Aid Chicago in this interactive role-playing Lab. In this engaging exercise in empathy, you’ll be provided resources before making decisions in the face of challenges like unfair evictions and barriers to your children’s education. After the exercise, you will come away with a deeper understanding of the choices people in poverty make and how legal aid can have a drastic impact on their livelihood.
Must be 18 or older and provide valid ID. Dress comfortably for walking and standing.
