    LAB - Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

    The Cinespace lot located in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood provides a world-class film studio thats produced shows such as Empire, Chicago Fire and Shameless. In collaboration with Stage 18, a nonprofit housed in Cinespace, the pair will offer a guided tour of the studio, pulling back the curtain on one of Chicago's booming industries. It will be followed by a conversation in the Stage 18 office, as they discuss what Chicago's future in the film industry looks like. After that, everyone will head around the corner to the Lagunitas tap room for a beer tasting, a tour of the space and some free-flowing conversations.
