    LAB - Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

    Do you have what it takes to combat poverty? LIFTopolis is a major metropolitan city with high poverty and social service providers who are understaffed, underfunded, and overburdened. For LIFTopolis residents, times are tough and getting tougher. Take on the identities of LIFTopolis residents and meet the challenge of getting the services they need.

    About the Organization:
    Operating a network of resource centers, LIFT engages volunteers to work together with low income community members to locate resources like housing,healthcare and employment. As clients make progress on the path to stability,advocates are transformed as they face the realities of poverty and systems that stifle social mobility.
