    Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

    Behind the Scenes at Millennium Park with Mayor Richard M. Daley

    Get the real story of the creation of Millennium Park, led by Mayor Richard M. Daley and Edward Uhlir FAIA, the projects master planner and Design Director. On this 3/4 of a mile walking tour, you'll explore inside the Pritzker Pavilion and the Harris Theater. This lab is perfect for the active explorer, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to climb some stairs!

    *REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 or older to participate.

    About the Organization: Millennium Park, Inc (MPI) is the not for profit raised 220 million to construct the park and was the private partner of the City of Chicago. MPI was responsible for the Pritzker Pavilion, Lurie Garden, BP Bridge, Cloud Gate (the Bean), Crown Fountain and all the other features in the park.
