    Lab
Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

At this Lab, Janice Bond and David Anthony Geary will lead a paint-by-numbers workshop over wine (BYOB). With an exercise focusing on the works of Jacob Lawrence, learn about his work, and it's influence within the Chicago Black Arts Movement. The pair, who are two of the most compelling artists working in Chicago, will explain the concepts of color theory, compositional destruction, material application, as well as share a bit about the neighborhood's history. By the event's end, you"ll have studied the approach and learned the strokes, getting a masterclass from some of Chicago's best.

*Must be 21 years or older to attend. Wear closed-toe shoes.
