To kick off our summer-long initiative and to commemorate Chicago’s contributions to the past 50 years of queer liberation, we’re celebrating in Revere Park with an all-out extravaganza of poetry and performance. Interweaving a conversation with LaSaia Wade of the Brave Space Alliance on the centrality of queers to the history of Chicago with live performances from the Artemis Singers and poet Kevin Beerman, this ecstatic celebration will tell Chicago’s queer story—past, present, and future.
