    LAB - Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

    Fossil Lab Experience

    Join Project Exploration students and the staff of one of the world?s premier fossil research labs for an unforgettable day learning and practicing the skills of fossil preparation. Learn about Project Exploration?s novel, hands-on approach to extra-curricular science education, and witness the inner-workings of a lab preparing fossil specimens that will be in tomorrow?s headlines. This extraordinary experience also includes lunch with Dr. Sereno. (Ages 14 and up).

    This lab tour offers the opportunity to see brand new discoveries from Project Exploration?s 2011 expedition in Wyoming, including a giant stegosaur plate and huge femur. Meet the Project Exploration students who have been with the bones from field to lab, and hear how they are contributing to the field of paleontology while gaining mind-opening scientific experience.
