YOUTH LAB -
Reserved for CIW YOU(th), Youth Labs bring together small groups of students for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.
At this CIW YOU(th) Lab with Boeing, students will have the opportunity to learn from some of the most innovative engineers working today. Participants will be able to choose between one of two amazing, hands-on activities: engineering a safe stopping robot and a rocket fuel detection system. Both activities demonstrate extraordinary engineering lessons with ordinary materials. By the end of the lab, students will have a better understanding of what it takes to imagine and create the next generation of world-changing innovations.
