    Lab
Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

Since 2009, the nonprofit social enterprise the Rebuilding Exchange has diverted nearly 10,000 tons of building material from ending up in landfills. By promoting deconstruction practices, Rebuilding Exchange has made material accessible to the public that would have otherwise been scrapped. At this Lab, they'll explain their process, provide a tour of their facilities and then lead attendees in a "Scraptacular." It'll be a chance to learn about how to reclaim items tossed aside, and how to make sustainability and reusability into a daily routine.

*This event has limited ADA access.
