    Lab
Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

Make your own biodiesel in this exploration of the impact and possibility of sustainable practices at Loyola University Chicago’s Institute of Environmental Sustainability in collaboration with Solomon Cordwell Buenz. You'll get an insider's look at this state-of-the-art mixed-use facility as you create biodiesel from safe and sustainable products, turn the byproducts from biodiesel production into eco-friendly soap and test the water quality of the aquaponics system in the facility's 3,100-square-foot greenhouse. Learn how sustainable practices are rapidly changing the way we fuel our lives in this hands-on Lab.

*You must be 18 or over to attend this Lab.
