Conversations are panel discussions that provide an in-depth, up-to-the-minute look at a single topic. Featuring three to four thought leaders and an expert moderator, Conversations consist of a 60-minute discussion, followed by 15 minutes of audience q-and-a.

We’re taking the party to the park with this conversation/performance fusion to celebrate the local narratives that make Englewood one of the most vibrant neighborhoods on Chicago’s South Side. In what will feel more like a block party than a talk, we’ll use performance by SHIFT Youth orchestra, community empowerment, and hyperlocal storytelling specially curated by Kusanya Cafe and Sonny Speaks to parse out the power of stories in tethering people together—and healing neighborhoods along the way.
