The Seldoms are a celebrated Chicago dance company that has been lauded not only as a "topnotch ensemble" (Chicago Tribune) but also as a "theater of inquiry" (Newcity Stage). At this Lab, take an interactive look inside a professional dance rehearsal and learn how The Seldoms creatively tackle subject matter in a fluent conversation across artistic disciplines. Work with them to direct dancers to create new phrases, and discover how their choreographic process distills and amplifies ideas to create relevant performance works in contested times.
