The Lifecycle of Your Salad with sweetgreen
Simple, seasonal, healthy food, it's what our friends at sweetgreen are all about. It's why their ingredients are locally-sourced and their recipes are seasonal and made from scratch. At this Lab, we'll go behind the scenes with sweetgreen chef Katelyn, the value chain team, and local Chicago farmer, Prairie Fruit Farm and Creamery, to learn more about how our food choices have a direct impact on the health of individuals, communities, and our environment. Participants will have the opportunity to step into the shoes of a sweetgreen chef to develop a recipe for and prepare their own seasonal bowl. Prepare for a delicious experience and a better understanding of how sweetgreen designs its seasonal menu.
