Think Like Ink with Ink Factory

Bring your notes to life with doodling and font making from the experts in visual learning.

    Friday, Oct 20, 2017 9:00 - 12:00 PM @ Ink Factory Studio
This event is over! Please check the 2018 schedule.
Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

If you think note-taking is tedious, this Lab will certainly change your mind. You"ve seen their large-scale visuals from all of the Chicago Ideas Talks and Conversations over the years, and now it"s your turn to try your hand at visual note-taking with Ink Factory. The Bucktown group transforms the spoken word into amazing informative drawings, and this lab will teach you how to do just that. Attendees will get hands-on experience on how to improve their visual note-taking skills through real-time practice and fun exercises with the Ink Factory team. Ink Factory"s mantra is "You talk. We draw. It"s Awesome." We think you"ll agree.

*This event is not ADA accessible.
