    Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

    Imagine a room where the surfaces are wallpapered with 3D TVs and seamlessly connected to phones or tablets. Talk, touch or gesture?be immersed in a movie, play a videogame, or remotely collaborate with colleagues. The UIC Electronic Visualization Laboratory is turning science fiction into reality and creating the world of the future.

    About the Organization:
    The UIC Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL) is an interdisciplinary research laboratory specializing in the design and development of high-resolution visualization, virtual-reality and networked collaboration display systems utilizing shared global cyberinfrastructure. EVL represents the oldest formal collaboration between engineering and art in the country offering graduate MS, PhD and MFA degrees.
