LAB - Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.

Despite its influential residential architecture and office spaces, some of Chicago’s most captivating neighborhoods have been defined by their industrial significance. Join the American Institute of Architects (AIA) on a walking tour of the historic Pullman National Monument neighborhood’s most impressive landmarks, led by the AIA architects who have contributed to the area’s historic preservation for over 50 years, as well as its redevelopment in the years since President Obama designated the neighborhood a unit of our National Park System. Our tour will include a range of vital sites, from Arcade Park to Greenstone Church to Hotel Florence and more. In the end, you’ll walk away with a greater sense of what makes Chicago one of the world’s architectural wonders, from the ground up.

*Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking, keeping in mind the weather.
