Labs bring together small groups for an exclusive, first-hand look into what happens behind the scenes at some of the most innovative companies, community leaders and institutions around Chicago.
Artist Matthew Hoffman has won love and acclaim from critics and regular Chicagoans alike for his “You are Beautiful” murals around the city. At this Lab for experienced creators and artistic newbies alike, join Hoffman for a tour of his new gallery and studio space and find out more about his work. Then learn how to woodcut and help the You Are Beautiful team make a collaborative woodcut piece that will be donated to a local school.
No loose clothing or jewelry (ties, long necklaces, etc.) closed toe shoes required.
