When is Chicago Ideas Week?
Chicago Ideas Week (CIW) is October 17–23, 2016. But we’re more than just a week. Join us February through June for monthly events.
Talks, Labs, Conversations, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner—with over 160 events to choose from, where should I start?
The average CIW attendee goes to three to five events and signs up for a mix of Talks, intimate Conversations and hands-on Labs. So, where should you look first?
How much does it cost to attend?
We want all of Chicago, the Midwest and beyond to participate in our Community of Curiosity. For this reason, tickets to most events are just $15.
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for year-round events, including upcoming Conversations and Member-only Labs and Book Clubs, are on sale now. Tickets go on sale to Chicago Ideas Members on September 8, 2016. Tickets for Chicago Ideas Week 2015 will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, September 19, 2015.
I’m having problems buying tickets! What should I do next?
For any ticket-related questions, e-mail tickets(at)chicagoideas(dot)com. Please note that there are no refunds and no exchanges available after you have booked your tickets.
I’m interested in attending the Edison Talks. How can I purchase a ticket?
A daylong gathering of provocative presentations, performances and interactive installations, Edison Talks is our single invitation-only event. To secure an invitation you can submit an application for consideration that will become available here in August.
