New media artist Jason Salavon creates artwork that transforms large, communal datasets into new aesthetic experiences. His work is exhibited around the world and examples are included in collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago. He is currently a professor in the Department of Visual Arts and the Computation Institute at the University of Chicago.
