Jim Richardson's career in photography has spanned four decades, the last quarter century for National Geographic Magazine. His work has ranged from documentary, photojournalism, environmental issues, landscapes and conservation. CBS Sunday Morning and ABC Nightline have profiled his work, he is a contributing editor National Geographic Traveler, lectures internationally, teaches extensively, published eight books, was a pioneer in multi-media, has been around the world five times and lives in a small town in Kansas.
