Maida Swenson-Fortune



Maida Swenson-Fortune is the founder of, a curated, online marketplace for artists to sell their artwork. She grew up with artists and is intimately familiar with the ins and outs (and delights and disappointments) of the art world. Prior to starting Cureeo, she attended Booth School of Business where she concentrated in entrepreneurship and marketing. During her tenure at Booth, she worked in venture capital, led a classroom module on leadership and conflict and was consistently recognized for strong academic performance. Before starting her MBA, she spent four years at General Mills where she worked in supply chain, sales and she worked overseas. She also speaks Spanish and Swedish.
