Lara Setrakian is a foreign correspondent based in Dubai, filing for television, radio, and digital platforms. She reports for "ABC News", "Bloomberg Television", "the International Herald Tribune" and "Monocle Magazine." In June 2012 she founded "News Deeply", an initiative of journalists and technologists working to innovate storytelling around complex global issues. The goal is to advance the user experience of foreign news for greater context, clarity, and engagement.
