For more than twenty years, Dina A. Griffin, AIA, NOMA, IIDA, President of Interactive Design Architects [IDEA], has blazed a trail for herself and her profession as a woman of color in a male-dominated design field. Her experience includes major municipal, civic, cultural and commercial office architecture projects. Across IDEA's impressive body of work, none is more recognizable than the new Modern Wing at the Art Institute of Chicago, where IDEA was chosen as the Architect of Record to work in collaboration with the world-renowned Renzo Piano Building Workshop. Dina is the past President of the Illinois Chapter of NOMA and a member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois and Chicago Chapters of the AIA.
