Renowned Swimming Coach of Michael Phelps

Hall of Fame Coach Bob Bowman presided over Michael Phelps' entire swimming career and helped guide the performance of one of the greatest athletes of all-time. He first identified the unique talent of Phelps at the age of 11 and developed a long-term strategy that has delivered unprecedented results including the most decorated athlete in Olympic and World Championships history. Bowman, a five-time ASCA Coach of the Year, is a three-time member of the U.S. Olympic Team staff and has recorded a staggering 29 medals over three Olympic Games. The Head Coach and CEO of North Baltimore Aquatic Club has guided his swimmers to 17 individual Olympic medals, including 12 individual Olympic gold medals during his career, more than any coach over the course of three Olympic Games.
