Kevin Dowling, VP of Research & Development. Kevin joined mc10 as the VPof R&D in January of 2010 and heads up the research and engineering efforts at MC10 including process, advanced technology and manufacturing as well as intellectual property. He has over 12 years experience in solid-state lighting at Philips and Color Kinetics where he led the engineering and technology efforts. He also has over 15 years of experience in advanced robotics engineering at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where, as a scientist, he led many projects including robotic systems for NASA. Kevin received his BS in Mathematics and MS and Ph.D. degrees in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
