Mario Batali counts 26 restaurants, ten cookbooks, numerous television shows and two Eataly marketplaces among his ever-expanding empire of deliciousness. Last winter, Batali opened Eataly Chicago, the second U.S. outpost of the hugely successful artisanal food and wine marketplace. The 63,00 -square-foot artisanal market is located in the heart of Chicago’s famed Michigan Avenue district. Mario’s newest cookbook “America Farm to Table: Simple, Delicious Recipes Celebrating Local Farmers” will be released in October, 2014.
