Explorer, Speaker & Author

Felicity Aston is the first woman in the world to ski alone across Antarctica and the first person to manage the feat under her own steam without using kites or parasails.

She made the 1744km journey from the coast on the Ross Ice Shelf, through the transantarctic mountains, across the Antarctic plateau via the South Pole to the opposite coast at Hercules Inlet in just 59 days, completely alone.

At 34, Felicity is no stranger to the Antarctic. In 2009 she led the Kaspersky Lab Commonwealth Antarctic Expedition, the largest and most international women?s team ever to ski to the South Pole.
